Hello - While web searching for treats that would be good for our chickens, I stumbled across this website. I have to say, "It is awesome". We are new to raising "back yard chickens", but have already fallen in love with it. We bought our first "pullets" the first of March - they hatched out on the 14th of February. We were looking for them to start laying sometime around September, but we've been getting eggs now for about 4 weeks!
Needless to say, we spoil them rotten - literally while handfeeding, they let us pet them and even pick them up and love on them - crazy I guess - but they are just so funny! Anyway - this is a totally awesome website and I am looking forward to a long and happy association with you guys. All of the information everyone gives out is wonderful - such a wealth of information and experience. Thanks to you all !!
Oh yeah, this is a picture of one of our hens Ms Maddy - she is a sweet girl!!
