HI neighbor! I am in Old Lyme, I actually am signed up for your newsletter and am on your FB:) It's GOOD to see a new breeder that is local !! I think you'll love this site, it's been soooo informative for me, and I know with your experience you'll be a great contributor! Now you just have to get some variety of Orps so I can come buy them from you!:))

Hi! Thanks for the welcome! We are working on expanding our breed selection, now that we have bumped incubation up to 1100 we have some spare capacity to incubate. The buff Orpingtons and Barred Rocks have proven very popular so they are on the roster for breeding pens this year. What other Orpingtons were you looking for? I met a guy Tom in Plainfield who bred this amazing Lemon maran Orpington (I think thats what he called it), most amazing rooster I have seen to date, he is still trying to get the coloring to breed true to the hens though.
