We have 15 chicks hatched waiting on last 8 eggs to decide if they wanna come out in crazy weather or not
 
Hi and welcome, from Indiana! Chicken keeping is VERY addictive, just he careful of chicken math! I went from 12 to 40+ in less than 2 months! May sound crazy but avoid feed stores at all costs haha! I'm less than 3 months in, myself. Type in your state, Providence, whatever in the search bar, a lot of the US states have their own threads and it's nice to have info from other chicken people close by!
 
We are now at 50 chicks with 3 hens brooding on ??? Eggs we are gonna have to learn more egg reciepes soon hoping the Nevada heat doesn't kill any
 
Just preformed surgery on one of my new chicks who was born with web feet on both legs so far a success
We also have 13 new chicks started hatching last tuesday :]
 
Sorry have not been back for quite a while we are holding at 62. 49 of those are chicks started hatching in May with last one hatching the 30th of June. All are still alive and thriving even our webbed foot chick. It's been relaxing watching them grow, my family laughs because the chicks act like I'm their mom. Hopefully will have pictures to post soon
