New to byc..

Start off by saying i just joined byc today and only have had chickens for going on a week now. Anyhow, I Started a coop and added two leghorns, which are laying great. Now I want brown eggs to go along with the large white eggs I'm getting now. Also to add color to my "flock" (if you can call having 2 chickens a flock) I'm in the Greenville sc area and looking for anyone that might have a few birds to sell.

If you go to the "Where am I, where are you" forum you can locate and post on your state thread. That will bring you in contact with others from your area. Hopefully you will find what you want locally.

For brown eggs you'll be looking for Australorps, Brahma, Cochins, Delaware, Dominique, Jersey Giant, Marans (very dark brown-beautiful!), New Hampshire, Orpingtons, Rhode Island Red... Just to give you some ideas.
