Hi All-
We are the proud new parents of 4 'red' pullets and 2 unsexed bantams (hopefully hens...). I lived in the country when I was growing up and had some chickens then, but have not had any in 20+ years. We live in the city and have decided to take out most of our back yard lawn to put in a garden and then also the side yard will be the chicken run. So excited!
We got the chicks on Thursday and so far, so good! We have them in the bathroom tub now. I will be checking the forums on coop ideas and other stuff. We are brand new and don't really have any ideas about what we need to do.
Can't wait to check out the whole site!
