It really is amazing! I was quite upset thinking of all the possible/probable things that could happen to her. So i am really happy!
 
I got my first chicken, Dixie, from Tractor Supply. She was supposed to be an egg layer, but she (and her brother, Peep) were meat chickens. After Dixie reached 8 lbs or so very quickly, I did the research and knew that they probably wouldn't last long. Dixie lived to be a little over 8 months old and passed away. Peep is still running with the egg layers and seems to be doing alright. He's just over a year old now! Though his legs are stocky and nasty looking, he gets around just fine. Maybe you'll get lucky and Popcorn will be as stout as Peep is!
