Hello, I'm new to BYC. I had researched a couple of things online and kept getting answers from BYC, so thought I should become a member!

We live in Wellington, OH and I have a flock of 9 varying in Rhode Island Reds, Austerlops, and Barred Rocks. I have had chickens for about a year and am hooked!

Welcome to BYC! We have the same breeds you do (plus Speckled Sussex, Red Stars, and one lone Easter Egger). You'll find all sorts of info here and there are a lot of nice people to answer any questions you might have.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. We are all hooked on chickens here. :o) You have some good, hardy, dependable layers. Australorps are my favorite standard breed; very hardy, calm and gentle, and excellent layers of large, brown eggs. My children, and now my granddaughter, made lap pets of ours.
