Thank you all for the wonderful responses! The dogs are actually great around the chickens, though my chihuahua likes to try to play with them sometimes. The old Presa was actually taught to, and still does, scare away large birds like vultures, hawks, and the like when she sees them in the sky, so the chicks are definitely safe with her around.
