New to chicken life

I recently rescued a hen from a friend who's flock would not accept her no matter what they tried. Many of her feathers were plucked out in her back when we got her and got she she hadn't been laying any eggs. She did start laying after having her about a week and she also got dry pox in that time! Then we got a super hot spell and she stopped laying, and still hasn't a month later. When she did lay, it was usually form the roost and they would brake and she'd eat them. She eats and poops alot and coat is looking much better! Not sure what to look for or check on ? She seems happy.

Do an on site search on scaley leg mites - she may have a light case.

We just have a single hen for now! We just moved to a property with a coop and now trying to get everything situated before introducing more.
