New to Chicken, Newnan, GA

If you pull her out, she will have to get re-introduced to the flock (they will forget they know her) and may bully and peck her. I think she will come around sooner, if she has some time being spoiled - hand feeding just a bit, maybe spending some time on your lap etc. She has every right to be so stressed, everything loves to eat chicken and dogs (Often the family pet) are usually the ones that massacre the flock.

Drumstick diva has given you some good advice. If you do decide to remove her from the flock, try and arrange things so that she is only separated from the flock by some wire mesh. That way she and the flock can still see each other and their familiarity will remain.
