Silkie & (maybe) Serama Hatch-A-Long

Pics
Cute!!!!! They are so darling! Annie Yolkley looks like possibly splash?

Will be interesting to see how mop bucket turns out! I have a girl that was dark with gold eyebrows as a chick - she came from a black and a buff parent. She is a dark brown color with gold head neck and chest now. I’ll find a pic of her, just in case little mop bucket had the same cross of parents (if the breeder has buffs, it is possible!) I found a photo - she is on the far left.
I just texted the lady I bought them from and asked what colors they could be.
She said mop bucket will probably be black and brown. So similar to your girl :love

She said the others could be white, splash and maybe buff. So I think Rebel, white, Annie Yolkley also white (though not sure, as she's more grey) and Lucky (Lady) is probably splash.

She (Lucky Lady)is absolutely crazy by the way, always up in my business :lau Has been known to attack my phone

And by the way. Rebel has little curly feathers coming in on her wings :love:celebrate

Oh don't push me :lau

Girl Pool GIF by America's Funniest Home Videos

I just found a posting for some hens just 25 mins down the road :p:lol:

I think you’re in the wrong place if you’re looking for anyone to talk you out of it :p !
Do it (if you have a place to quarantine them)! Seramas are incredible

I don't think I'll get them just yet.

It's a guy who has loads of different breeds (10-20 different breeds) for sale throughout the year. Gets new chickens every couple of weeks....

So either I'll get some small chickens from him in a month or two, or I'll get some small eggs to stick under a broody that I'll definitely have sometime soon

My bantam silkie was broody in the middle of winter. We had about 4 inches of snow and it was minus 10C° :th:lau

I stopped her being broody by sticking her into the snow for 30 seconds or so...(Was kind of ruthless, but the only thing that seemed to work :idunno:lol:)
