Greetings from Bonney Lake, Wa.! I have 3 chickens with a chicken tractor. I have 2 Barred Rocks and 1 Rhode Island Red. RuPaul, Raja and Bertha Venation or better known to me as fluffy butts. I have been reading tons of good information on this site and so far I don't have any questions, but I will post when I do. I work night shift at a local area hospital and I have the 'girls' locked up at night for safety and let them out when I get home. They are great and I just enjoy their antics since they are too young to lay just yet. From what I can recall they should start to lay in the next 4 weeks or so. I will post pictures when I get a chance. When I am home I let the fluffy butts run free in the yard. I have 2 dogs and they all do very well together. I make sure I am around to keep an eye on everyone. There are 2 eagle couples that nest nearby so I keep my ears and eyes peeled and so do the chickens. I have massive amounts of tree cover so they are pretty much covered by a canopy.
