Haha! thanks for the warm welcome, its good to know we arent alone

we are soooo addicted- we showed up to buy three... and my roommate, who had been lecturing me on the way to the feed store about how we couldn't have all the chickens in the world, saw all of those chicks and got this look in her eye... So, after we had gotten our sanctioned three chicks she turned to me and actually said "oh wait- didn't you really want a sussex? hey, those sussex chicks are cute! HEY! did you see they have sussex chicks?????" I did try to ignore her... for like... 30 seconds.
i can just see myself saying at the feed store next week when i pick up our australorp "oh! you have a (fill in breed name here)? Ill take one of those too, and oooo- whats that one?" but i plan to stay strong. 5 really is our limit.
chicks are adorable.
its like watching chicken tv.
