New to Chickens…can't get enough

I have always loved chickens, I have collected pictures and artwork since I was very young, but growing up in
Los Angeles and San Francisco, I haven't been around a ton of chickens, or chicken enthusiasts. I'm looking forward to digging in, and learning a lot. A friend of mine started raising her own chickens in her backyard, and it was so awesome, it really inspired me to get going. I particularly love Ugly chickens, and that's how I found this site. I was looking for pictures of ugly chickens on line and saw the "Ugly chicken contest" on this site. Everyone was so sweet talking about their ugly chicken, and how much they loved them, and made fun of them…It was fantastic, so I had to join. Looking forward to all of this.

thanks so much, I am stoked. Are you raising chickens out here. would love to learn more.

My wife is a pastry chef and we do a lot of food swaps and things around town. always down to swap for eggs etc. just trying to learn as much as I can,
and be around the chickens. i have spent a lot of time looking and stoked to start participating.
