New to Chickens…can't get enough

Welcome from the Antelope Valley! You're not far from me! :)

I love it when people have backyard chickens. I feel like too many people think it isn't do-able!

I live in central los angeles right in the middle of the city of LA. It's totally do-able, even in an urban environment. My yard is really small but I am planning out an urban garden and trying to learn everything I can to make the most of my space. Veggies, chickens, compost, worms, Yay! The chickens have turned out to be way more fun than I thought they would be. I currently have 6 hens (shh! I'm 1 over my legal limit but 2 are bantams so that counts as half, right? :)

They're addicting, aren't they? XD We started out with chickens last April and it's progressed to turkeys and ducks.

Anyway, you should post some of your ideas for urban development in the other sections. It's always nice to see how other people are utilizing their space.
