new to chickens, a great family project in CT

My 38 y o Son and I agreed we want chickens so together we convinced the Wife. He is a gardener and I am a retired handyman, so together we are going for it. We got 6 chicks from Tractor Supply and bought a used large tractor supply coop with 10x 10 fence pen. We pressure washed it and used bleach to clean it and it is in nice shape. The chicks are in the basement for 6 weeks, and super cute. Wow there is a lot to learn and set up.
We have 2 Olive Eggers, 2 Buff Orpingtons and 2 Jersey Giants.
