New to Chickens and BYC. Could use some help with the breed and sex of these if you can, Thank you

I was given these chickens and they could not tell me anything about them, other than it would save their heads to come with me. so any help would be appreciated.

The two bright red/ black colored ones with curved tail feathers are roosters. The rest from what I can tell look like hens. I'm not sure about breed. Maybe some sort of game bantam?

Thank you. Would you recommend free range or a coop for these?

Game birds tend to do well free ranging but it depends on your situation. Even the cleverest bird won't survive and area with an abundance of predators. Use your own judgement on that. Games are scrappy birds who do well finding food, etc. But I think they tend to wander so you'd want to keep them confined long enough they'd return to your coop at night.
