New to chickens and BYC!

We got them from a person in town who didn't want them anymore, getting older and was hard to take care of.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We adopted 6.

(3) What breeds do you have?
I believe we have 2 Easter Eggers, a Rhode Island Red, a Plymouth Rock, a Wyandotte and one I'm not sure.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love watching them and that they "talk" to me while I'm gardening.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I've had alot over the years... painting, gardening, scrapbooking and think involving crafts!

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 human girls, and a hubby and a cat.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D
We bought a small coup from Tractor supply to realized it wasn't going to work for the winter, so was looking for info on coops.... this site was sooooo helpful!
