New to Chickens and BYC

Hi everyone!
I'm from the Texas Panhandle. I am a newly divorced mom of wonderful one year old girl and a 7 month old border collie. Now that we are living with my mom, who grew up on a farm and is a farm girl at heat, we decided to get 2 Buff Orpington chicks. They are 3 weeks old and we love them! This site has been an invaluable resource!
