New to chickens, and need help!

I certainly will! I love my coop. Just got home from work and hoped it would be done, but it wasn't. I'm sure they will be in there tomorrow though. I'm so excited, and I bet they will be, too. Thank you, everyone, for all your help and encouragement.

When the coop is ready I know all humans and chickens will be HAPPY

My chicks are so happy in their coop! All the pecking has stopped, for now. We still have to get their run together.

I'm a newbie. But I know this.....(learned this)....if you are thinking about getting chickens, have a coop ready for them before you even get those little balls of fluff! They grow fast. You don't want to undermine your flock (no matter how big it is), by keeping them in tight quarters, which ultimately leads to bad behavior.

They are seven weeks old now, and what I find so amusing is they are more like a chicken because they have all of their feathers, and they seem so big compared to a few weeks ago. But they still peep. Once in awhile, I hear a cluck! My babies are growing up.

I have learned so much through this site, and I thank BYC for all of your articles and the people who responded to my questions when I was not sure what to do. I am sure I will have many more.

When I learn how to use the computer, I'll post a picture!

Your most welcome. I found this site about 6 months ago before I decided to re start my chicken journey. It has been awesome and very useful. I wish you luck and yes please send pictures! I move mine into my just finished coop this Saturday! Wish me luck!
