Hi my fellow Chickeneers! I live in southeast Missouri and a mom of three teens. Wife of a retired Army vet and recently moved to an area where I could finally have MY CHICKENS! I am so excited! I did quite a bit of research but need actual people that have or is raising these beautiful babies! Now for some questions! I went to my local atwoods and bought me some pretty chicks! 5 altogether. 3 bantams and what was labeled as a Rhode Island Red and a Yellow production. But I don't think my red is a true red but maybe you all can help me out. Can you all help me identify them all? I am gonna post pics of them all, first three will be bantams and then my full size chickens chicks. They all very in ages but all are beautiful. So bring on your best guesses! And I believe #2 might be a rooster!?

Thank you! I sure think their just the most beautiful chicks! I got the bantams first and then the other two cause I just couldnt help myself! Now my hubby refuses to take me back to atwoods anymore, lol

Hello from Northeast Missouri. Welcome to BYC! Congratulations on your new chicken adventure! The chick in your first picture looks to be a red Cochin bantam. It also looks to be a rooster. The chick in the second picture is a Silver Duckwing Old English Game bantam pullet. The third one is a frizzled cochin. No guess on gender. To me the fourth one looks more like a New Hampshire than a Rhode Island Red. It could be either one though. I would guess it to be a pullet. I have never heard of or let alone seen a Production Yellow. So I have no clue on that one. It is an attractive looking chick.
