New to Chickens - California - I.E.

Hello,

I'm totally new to chickens. I got 4 from a feed store and probably will add 2 more in a few months. I live in the Inland Empire in California, near Redlands & San Bernardino.

Been perusing this site for a while. Lots of helpful info!

Welcome! If you're thinking about getting a couple more you might want to do it now. Makes it easier to join the two groups together if they are young.
 
My reason for waiting a few months is that I want to stagger the ages enough that they won't all be molting at the same time.
