Hi! I am from central texas and we got our first chickens in February. We started with five and now have 11 two barred rocks, two light brahmas, one ameraucana, one welsummer, one minorca, 2 blue langshans hens, and one black and one blue langshan rooster. They are all from the local farm supply so nothing quality yet. We just got our very first egg today from the ameraucana "effie" this evening and the whole family is excited for the rest to start. Anyways I have been lurking for awhile and figured I should check in and say howdy. I have enjoyed all the pictures stories and wealth of information here.
