New to chickens in Central FL!! :)

I've just decided to bite the bullet and get a pair of chicks (Easter Eggers, I'm thinking) in the next month. We have plans to fence in our yard and build the converticoop. Any advice from others is welcome!!!

@geepy- where are you?!?! I'm off newfound harbor in MI- but since we aren't a "town" i'm under Brevard law... which technically states I can have exactly ONE chicken. So I'm bending that a little
