I'm in Elk Grove, too, but having a normal-sized yard, it is not possible to be 40 feet away from all property lines.


If the city had adopted the same rules as Sacramento, it'd be a snap.

I have friends in Sacramento and Stockton who have been raising hens for a couple of years, now. I wish I could have fresh eggs every day!
