New to Chickens in Indiana

Hello! My name is Allison and I'm mom to 2 kids, one maltese mix, one husband

and now 4 chickens!

I've been wanting them for over a year now. Done all the research I could, and built the chicken house. Ready to order my chicks, and here comes my next-door neighbor with a box of 3 mystery chickens! Last night I got a call from work. Someone had found a baby chick in their front yard (!) and wanted to know if I wanted it.

So now I have 4 mystery chicks (their blurry photos are in the breed section) and I'm having a blast! This forum has been awesome. I'm so glad I found it.
