New to chickens in Iowa

Just got 10 chics tonight here hoping to learn everything I need to know to keep them happy and healthy. If pictures uploaded this will be their new home when they’re ready(if it’s done by then. )

Thank you! Hubby made it all out of recycled materials. Only money spent was on screws and hinges.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens biggest threat I see is you kitty buddy he will eat your birds if he gets a chance... I think the coop is perfect ventilation and room to grow

Thank you! We have 2 cats that are killing machines but don't seem to be interested in the chics so far. When hubby is done hopefully they (and any other predators!) won't be able to get to the chickens!
