New to chickens in Maine

Hello everyone so one week ago I decided to get six RIR chicks from a local dealer. I have always wanted chickens ad finally got some. I just started to build my coop, it's going to be 6x6 and I'm not sure how big of a run yet, probably 10x10. I have been taking pictures as I build and will be posting one day soon!

! Great to have you aboard! Your coop and run are of adequate size for the numbers you are getting. 4 sq. ft/ per bird for the coop and 10 sq. ft. per bird for the run is recommended. A bit of advice? Make your chicken accommodations bigger than you think you'll ever...never know what the urge to add birds will hit you! Good luck and enjoy your flock!
