I am new to chickens. I currently have two Polish chickens, and I am looking to add four more of two different breeds. We will need gentle chickens that won't hurt your rather small Polish chickens. Right now I am looking at Americaunas and Orpington's, or other gentle chickens. I live in middle Tennessee. I also raise and milk Mini Nubian dairy goats.

We are glad you joined us, again!

Hi :welcome

It's great to hear you are looking at a more gentle breed to add to your polish. Sometimes polish really don't do well in mixed flocks and they can often end up separated from everyone. Have you thought about adding a bantam breed to your Polish?

Good luck with your additions and enjoy BYC :frow

Hello Annie, :welcome My name is Robin and it is nice to meet you

Hi Annie and welcome to byc :frow Where are you in middle TN? Clearly you are a neighbor...

Yes you might consider adding bantam cochins, or silkies etc. Silkies and polish are the breeds that get picked on because they look so different.

You've already received some good suggestions for other breeds, so I'll just say hello and thanks for joining us!
