Marek's vaccinations have to be given when they are chicks. It's a rather nasty virus which spreads easily and is difficult to eradicate from a flock. That's not the only disease out there. Be sure to quarantine new additions before adding to the flock.

My flock has Marek's, so any bird I bring in has to have been immunized as a chick.
