I am new to chickens, always wanted them and so when a neighbor had some baby chicks unexpectedly, we welcomed three home. Our neighbor thought they were Orpingtons, but we are not sure yet. We have two males and one female. We brooded them in the house, and they have been in their own coop since the summer. They get along great and love having them in our yard and our lives. I haven't handled them much, but they follow is everywhere and like to be close by. We are having fun watching their personalities develop.We've named them Rickie, Fred, and Lucy - when we get another female, she'll be named Ethel:)
