Hi all!

I surprised my significant other with a chicken coop (home made) and two chicks from the feed store (Easter egger and Black Maran) for valentines day. He then ordered "a few more" day old silver laced polish so now we are up to 6. My romantic gesture has increased our already significant animal presence, but I am no chicken expert so here I am!

I am a horse trainer, so we also have up to 18 horses (not all mine, thank goodness!) on the farm, as well as a pity purchase auction mule pony and a mini-highland heifer. Inside the house (along with our 6 chicks) are our two poodles and his bearded dragon to complete our crazy family.

Thus the name... OneTwoMany... we have lots of mouths to feed every morning!!

I have been lurking for a while on coop designs, run dimensions and basic chicken enrichment. I hope to learn a lot while here.
