Hi Everyone,
My name is Adrienne and I live in WNY. I live with my husband of almost 9 years and my 3 children; ages 11, 7, and 3.
We have had chickens for about a year now. Our first batch was 2 Bantam roosters and 3 Bantam hens that we adopted. About 6 months later we acquired 2 Wynedotte hens, although I am not sure what specific kind. About 2 weeks ago we took in SEVERAL more hens that we adopted because their old owner's barn burned down. These birds included some Rhode Island Reds, some other kind of black and white chickens, 1 Guinea hen and 2 ducks. And yesterday my husband came home with 2 Wynedotte roosters...one of which I am going to have issues with already...my leg is a little sore right now.
We have alot to learn and I am glad I came across this website. I hope to meet some new people and possibly get answers to questions when I have them.
