New to chickens in Yuba city.

Every time I searched this forum would come up. This is a great source of info.
Here's what I made. Any advice?
A coop design is in the works. I hope to let them free range in neighborhood. I figured they would return to coop. Worried about others trying to take it over?

Looks good.
You can free range them when they are big enough. Seems like the trend where you are.

Four Out of the five. One wasn't fully grown and passed away after 30hrs. I cried. Was a long 21 days for someone who didn't know what they were doing and used a heating pad for first 2 days. The 4 are happy.
