Unfortunately, the black legs and feet is also a trait of BJG... So, gonna have to see the bottoms of those feet to know for sure.

She looks like a Black Australorp. Marans should have feathers on the feet and Jersey Giants do not normally have that much curve the the back and tail

Yes!

The foot color will be the final thing to tell the difference

The French type marans have feathered White legs. Marans in general have white skin on their legs.

If your Marans looks like this bird, its not a Black Copper. Maybe a Black Marans.

I want to know what the red hen is. I got 2 light red hens at the feed store as a lady was doing an emergency re-home of her adult birds and they are really nice but I have no idea what breed they are. I'll have to take and upload a pic later and start a question thread I guess

I could easily be wrong but I was under the impression that JG legs were more slate color and Aorps legs were black.

Her feet are...
White! They were dirty at first and I had to clean them slightly, but they are indeed white!

Is she a black Australorp then? I uploaded a super close up of her feathers simply because they are so beautiful. Thanks for your help!

I always am attaching pictures of Mocha. She is a brown color, with a few black feathers in her tail. She is very hard to get pictures of but I’ll give ya the best ones I’ve been got! Also attached are all these little red ladies that have bit of white feathers all over, almost yellow/orange eyes! Thanks everyone for your help!
