I'm thrilled to find this forum. My name is Linda and I live in Decatur, Georgia where I just started keeping chickens. I have six almost four week old babies. They came from My Pet Chicken and are supposedly four Easter Eggers, one blue-lace red Wyandotte and one Super Blue. I can't tell who is who. They are big enough and active enough right now to occasionally get away from me as I move them from their indoor accommodations to play in my outdoor coop during the day - it's 80 here today so plenty warm for them to be outside. I had a funny race around the coop yesterday with a small chick - I laughed at her as I ran and kept thinking: I am so much older and bigger than you, why can't I catch you???

I am also a beekeeper. I've had bees since 2006. My great aunt had a farm and chickens in middle Tennessee and I loved visiting her so I think I am reconnecting with Aunt Sarah in this new endeavor. I'm a grandmother, a retired clinical psychologist, a bread baker, a quilter, and love to garden.

I know I will learn a lot from all of you on this forum. Thank you for being here!

Here are my little girls. I got them in the mail on April 18! So assuming they hatched the day before, they are 25 days old. I love it that they are each such characters already.

*I LOVE THEM!* Giving you a follow so I know whenever you post about them.
May I ask what's in your waterer? It looks like orange juice!
