(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Someone dumped two roosters outside our house, caught one last night, caught the other this morning. Need to find them a home.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 2, one very noisy rooster and one very quiet rooster
(3) What breeds do you have? I am primarily a duck person. I have an Indian Runner and a Muscovy right now. That's why I'm not new to the site, have referenced it many, many times in the past
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Not so into the chicken side cause I've only got the roosters. But as far as my ducks, I love their personalities. They each are different and interact differently. Muscovies are my favorite duck cause of their personalities. They're super sweet and friendly and wag their tails when they're exciting, and they squeak and purr in excitement. They're also the only breed I've seen commit to one duck and be fiercely protective of that relationship. My Indian Runner is incredibly sweet too. She had a rough start to life and is blind in one eye, but she's a cuddler and just sweet.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I paint, sculpt, write, read, and play video games.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? This site has been my go-to resource since I first came across my first duck years ago. In fact, the duck I mention above, she arrived with a dead duckling and damage to her eye, and this site helped me ensure she survived and came out okay on the other side. I finally joined because of those two roosters. I'm hoping someone wants a new rooster, or two.
