Hi,
I thought I sent a post up earlier; but, can't find it. I may have put it in the wrong spot.
But, my wife and I close on a house August 1st that will be zoned AR (which in Orange County, FL it means Agricultural/Residential) and we'll finally be legally allowed to have chickens (as well as any other farm animals we like).
Funny thing is that Orange County, FL is voting today on allowing 3 chickens (no rooster) and the recommendation from the board is to approve the vote.
Who knows when it will actually come into law -- and it will require training and a special type of coop. But, it's a start.
Regardless my wife and I are excited about sustainable living and homesteading here in Florida.
