Hey everyone I'm about to buy 10 or so layers and they will have a coop and 10 foot by 10 foot run, although they will be free range chickens. Will they venture back to the coop at dark? What's your routine for your chickens? Do u just let em out every morning? Lemme know! Thanks in advance

Welcome. Once you get your chickens, keep them locked up for a week or two then they can be let out and should return to the coop in the evenings.
Depending on the area in which you live, whether they stay on your property or go visiting and predators and protection from them, the chickens can free range all the time (if it's safe) or just in the afternoon or when you are there and can be out with them.
Usually dawn and dusk are the times predators are most likely to hit so if they are locked up then it might be safer.
Some chickens are trained to come with a rattling can (containing treats) or to a whistle if treats are given and they can be locked up before dusk depending on if your situation needs it.
