New to chickens

I live in east yorkshire england I have 2 warren hens and 1 light sussex hen up until today i also had a light sussex cockerel but had to find him a new home as he had found his voice sad to see him go as he was a friendly boy

I'm from East Yorkshire too!! :D Sorry to hear you had to rehome your friendly boy :hugs Are you not allowed to keep a cockerel? Have you been keeping chickens long? No we live in a residential area, got the light sussex 3 months ago they are my first chickens started off with 3 what we were told were hens but 2 turned out to be cockerels,got the warrens a month ago to replace 1 cockerel

Such a shame you can't keep a cockerel. Where in East Yorkshire are you? I'm near Goole :/
