New to Chickens!

Hi! I am soooo excited to be a proud new owner of two six-week-old chicks, but I'm not well educated on how to care for them. I've been reading on BYC for a few days, and figured I'd join the family!
Can't wait to learn many more things about raising chickens in my own backyard!

Congratulations on your new feathered family members.

As CTKen has given you some great starting points, I will just add that I hope you enjoy BYC. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends
