New to chickens

So i am super new to chickens. Although i thoroughly researched them before making the plunge, picking the breeds, and welcoming them home i have a ton of questions. I just received 17 chicks via usps yesterday (04/24/19) and just adore their little peeps.

Hello! Nice to meet you and have fun in here. You do have lots to learn and you can find it on here. First thing you should know is,

Chickens die. ALL the time. Forge on, it gets better over time.
These won’t be your last ones you buy.
You have to decide on what color egg you want.
You may need an intervention at some point.
