New to Chickens

We have brand new to chickens! My oldest daughter asked for them a couple of years ago. My husband has built a beautiful coop and run. We have 6 total chicks
1 - rhode island red (6 weeks)
2 - wyandotte (silver laced and a gold laced) 4 weeks
2 - polish (blue and silver) 3-4 weeks
1 - golden comet (3 weeks)

I am sure we will be asking lots of questions.. We are anxious to know whether we have hens (because a rooster we will need to find a home for).
