New to chickens

I have my first flock. This week I realized my favorite chicken is a rooster. He is a beautiful black Cochin. I’m sorry I will need to regime him.

my husband and I are empty nesters and live dogs. We decided to expand our family with 6 chickens. We enjoy sitting outside with them each evening.
