Hello all,
I am new to raising chickens, I just got my first five 6 weeks ago. I believe they are all hens but I’ve started getting mixed opinions so I’m a little nervous.
I have four different breeds, but can only remember three; Rhode Island Red, Golden Sex Link and Bantam. Can’t remember the last one for the life of me.
Right now, the purpose of our chickens is for eggs. we shall see the the future holds.
Gardening is my favorite thing to do, having chickens there has become second nature.
I have 7 kids so being able to grow/raise our food is great.
I found this group when looking for ways to identify a rooster. That will take you down a worm hole.
I can’t wait to learn things from you all.
