new to chickens

we have just started with 4 australorp bantams we think they are between 7 to 14 weeks old, only sure of 1 is a boy and 1 is a girl but no idea on the other 2 yet, the boy started crowing this week and the girl seems to be dropping what looks and smells like the white of egg but no shell or yolk?? today we have bought 3 girl columbian wyandottes and they seem scared, but our australorps are very friendly.

The hens could be older then what you were told. In that case those could be eggs they are laying. You could try giving them some oyster shells and layer feed.
