New To Chickens

i just got 4 golden comets and two white leg horns.so,now i need to build a coop.sould i build one to walk into to get eggs or an outside opening?

well with the nestbox on the outside it gives you more space inside the coop

will a 4x8x4h be big enough for 6 chickens.they are just babies right now.

yep I agree, a box that sticks out from the hen house so you can just unlatch the lid and pick up the eggs.

I would make it accessable from the outside so they have more room and you can easily get your eggs without also dealing with the chickens trying to get out or running about.

A lot depends on where you are. That is, IMO, too little room in Canada and too much in Florida -- actually in Florida I would build a three sided coop and pen combination.
