Hi! I thought I'd introduce myself before starting in with the questions. We're a homeschooling family of four, with 2 young boys (almost 8 & 4). We recently bought our first house and now have 4.5 acres to have fun with. We got our first 6 chicks from Tractor Supply on Friday. I'm not sure what they are yet, as they were in a mixed pullet bin, but they all look pretty much the same. We also have 2 cats and 2 hermit crabs. I hope to add to the animals at some point, but we're taking it slow for now. We're also working on our first real vegetable garden, again starting small and planning on working our way up. I don't have much of a green thumb, but I'm trying to learn. We like to be outdoors, go letterboxing, Cub Scouts, doing crafts, and the guys are all into computers. I guess that sums it all up.

I probably would go crazy if my husband would let me.

He's more into the garden than the animals. I figure it's better to start small anyway since we're learning as we go.

Hi and

from Ohio. So glad you joined. I have to ask what is letter boxing?

Letterboxing is like treasure hunting for rubber stamp images. There's plenty of info on the web if you want to learn more about it.
