New to Chickens

I'm new to chickens and am looking forward to building a coop and learning as much as I can about raising my own backyard chickens. If anyone has any suggestions on raising chickens in an Oklahoma climate, I'm open to any ideas.

If you want advice from people in your area you should check out your state's thread in Where am I, where are you.
But ask questions in any of the forum sections and you should get some good replies.
