Hi all, thanks for all of those great suggestions.
So Daisy is still with us but has now started to gape quite a bit. She's still not moving around much and has no appetite.
We've put worming power in the food and some vitamin liquid in their water so hopefully that'll have some effect. We're off to buy a pipet to dose her with wormer mixed with water as she's no eating much.
She's giving all the symptoms of gape work now but I read that it very rare. The other three girls are really well but should I isolate Daisy from them to avoid spread?
Her crops is empty and she's not egg bound. Here breathing is silent, no rasps or coughs. Her comb is still red. She's sleeping almost all the time.
It's so sad to watch her.
I've put two rubber eggs in each of the nesting boxes and tried keeping them all in the run this morning but they were getting so agitated that I let them out. I can cope with doing the egg hunt every morning.
Yours,
FC.
